Which trades, specifically
The city-wide figure hides a lot. Some trades are almost entirely online; others have barely
started. Each trade links through to how it looks across the whole of Australia.
If you sell websites, local SEO or Google Business setup, these are businesses that have not
bought from anyone yet — no incumbent to displace, no agency contract to break. The biggest rows
are not always the best ones: considered-purchase trades such as contractors, estate agents and
accountants feel a missing website as lost work, and pay accordingly.

Where does this come from?Open mapping data — Overture Maps merged with
All The Places — not scraped and not from Google Maps. A business counts as having no website when
the dataset holds no site for it, so treat the figure as a floor.
